Video editing: Pinnacle Studio 23

Via The DIY Video Editor I discovered the video editing software, Pinnacle Studio 23. Since I would like to shoot a short when I have a new camera, I need a good software for video editing. Since Pinnacle Studio 23 is only for Windows (64-bit) available, I will additionally need either Wine or CrossOver Linux to get it running on Ubuntu Linux. I already tried to edit some simple footage using the 3D software, Blender, which has a video editor built in, but this editor is not very comfortable. So, I think when the time is right, I’ll give Pinnace Studio 23 a try.
